The fake SignalGate “scandal” fizzled out incredibly fast last week, even by the usual standards of anti-Trump nothing-burgers invented by the media.

That didn’t slow down Crooked Hillary Clinton, however. She weighed in over the weekend with an op-ed to share some Very Important Thoughts on how important it is to properly handle classified information. She’s an expert on that subject, after all.

And in case anyone missed the point, this was Crooked Hillary dipping her toe in the water to signal her intent to run for president again in 2028. Maybe she hopes the third time is the charm.

SignalGate fell apart as soon as Trump fabulist and former Russia hoaxer Jeffrey Goldberg published the full string of text messages that he was “accidentally” included in were published last week. Vice President JD Vance, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Trump national security advisor Mike Waltz, and others had no idea at the time that Goldberg was secretly reading their text message. There was no classified information discussed in the texts and no military attack plans.

They were simply chatting about sensitive (but not classified) info about a potential military strike against the Houthis in Yemen. The media tried to make a huge deal about it, but it truly was a nothing-burger with no ketchup and no bun.

So, here comes Hillary! Here’s what she had to say in a ghostwritten op-ed in the New York Times:

“It’s not the hypocrisy that bothers me; it’s the stupidity. We’re all shocked — shocked! — that President Trump and his team don’t actually care about protecting classified information or federal record retention laws. But we knew that already… That’s dangerous. And it’s just dumb.”

Wait until she hears about how Barack Obama’s Secretary of State handled classified information!

For those who don’t remember, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton set up an illegal private server in her bathroom closet at Chappaquiddick that she used to conduct all official State Department business. She did this specifically to skirt the federal record retention laws that she’s scolding Pete Hegseth about.

While we can’t prove it, most people are also certain that Crooked Hillary did this in order to run the Clinton Foundation’s pay-to-play schemes to enrich themselves. Bill Clinton raked in tens of millions of dollars for giving speeches in foreign countries that Crooked Hillary was negotiating weapons sales with. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out what was going on there.

After Hillary got caught with the illegal bathroom server during the 2016 election (which she lost by a lot), she had her security team wipe the server clean with BleachBit. Former FBI Director James Comey also allowed Hillary’s entire State Department staff to destroy their Blackberries with hammers to cover their tracks. You can’t make this stuff up.

I could tell you all sorts of classified information that was on Hillary Clinton’s bathroom server, or you could just look it up yourself on the internet. A freakin’ teenager in Romania hacked the server and published the entire contents of it online. The FBI determined that China, Russia, and even the Stone Age Iranians had hacked Hillary’s bathroom server and that she had compromised almost three years’ worth of classified information.

So, Crooked Hillary is the last person who should be lecturing the Trump administration about handling classified intel. But that wasn’t the real purpose of her op-ed in the New York Times.

The Democrat Party has been in shambles since the MAGA/MAHA coalition crushed them in the 2024 election. In all seriousness, who is in charge of that party right now?

Joe Biden doesn’t even know what planet he’s on right now. Kamala is probably in rehab. Barack Obama is likely going through a divorce. Nancy “Granny Winebox” Pelosi is sick and ailing and looks like she’s got both feet in the grave. Chuck Schumer’s political career looks like it’s on life support. Less than 1% of American adults could probably pick House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries out of a lineup.

With no one in charge, there’s a huge leadership vacuum in the Democrat Party right now. Hillary Clinton has an indecent lust for the presidency that is only rivaled by California’s Gavin Newsom and she senses this. Now is her time to shine!

For Hillary’s next move, she’ll probably start a nationwide “listening tour” which will mostly involve her talking about how dumb she thinks Republicans are. From there, she’ll eventually launch her “Third Time’s the Charm” campaign to finally take control of America so she can boss us around good and hard.

Fortunately, President Trump is openly saying he wants to stick around for a third term. If Crooked Hillary is the best candidate that Democrats can drag out of the grave to challenge him, I’ll be ready for that rematch!
